Riki Tat Tiki (Oct 2021 - Present)

Solo artist creating, promoting, selling handmade ceramic mugs using a combination of 3D modeling and printing with traditional ceramic techniques.

▪ 3D modeled using sculpting software (ZBrush, NOMAD Sculpt) and resin printed designs (Formlabs). Created plaster molds of printed designs and used clay slip casting techniques to make 200+ ceramic mugs and 10+ unique designs sculpted.

▪ Self-started business with trademarked logo that was drawn using digital software (Procreate).

▪ Successfully promoted business on social media with a total of $25,000 worth of ceramic mugs sold within a year.


Senior Mechanical Engineer - Backbar Solutions | San Diego, CA (Nov 2022 - June 2023)

Senior Engineer responsible for creating and releasing a new automated machine for dispensing craft beverages as well as setting processes for successful product configuration control.

▪ Designed, rendered, and released a new automated machine in the company’s product lineup. Responsible for concept design which was well received by existing and new customers.

▪ Mechanical hardware includes Design for Manufacturing (DFM) sheet metal, CNC metals, and vacuum formed parts.

▪ Integrated system components like PCB boards, solenoids, and tube bundles within a confined and streamlined form.

Automated Goniometer Instrument, NASA’s Solar System Workings Contract | Seattle, WA (July 2019 - Oct 2021)

Modeling & Mechanical Engineer responsible for the instrument’s 3D model, requirement validation, and designing several critical mechanisms.

▪ Created the instrument’s 3D model framework for quick iterations. Design changes were automatically flowed down to subassemblies and parts.

▪ Translated instrument’s spectrogoniometery angle requirements into a working 3D assembly model, with full range of motion, for design validity.

▪ Designed three unique mechanisms for the Goniometer which allows automated spectroscopic measurements by operating with 3-DOFs.
