Christine Chao (Formerly “Liao”) started out her career as a Mechanical Design Engineer. But eventually found her passion in creative design and 3D sculpting.

Christine usually does more technical 3D modeling in her engineering roles. But she found that she could express her creative itch doing 3D sculpting. At the same time, she also found her interest in ceramics. With the motivation to make her own ceramic cocktail mug and her new found ability to sculpt organic shapes… she paired the two together interests together and started her own small business called Riki Tat Tiki.

Christine continues to 3D sculpt as well as create 2D digital art to market her small business. She has now realized, through mug making, creating art that connects her with others brings her immense happiness. Now that she has honed in her art tool sets she’s currently looking at the horizon for new opportunities for creative exploration and ways to express art!
